A reputable restaurant located in the Savannah Regional Capital Damongo,  is seeking for an experience CHEF to join our team! As a Head Chef, He/She will be responsible for preparing delicious, Nutritious and hygienic meals (both local and continental) for our clients.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and cook meals (both local and continental) dishes including appetizer, main courses, and desserts, using classic and modern cooking techniques and dietary requirements
  • Develop new recipes and refine existing ones in collaboration with the management to meet high culinary standards.
  • Collaborate with management to plan menus, manage inventory, and control food costs
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace and dining areas Comply with standard policies, health and safety regulations, sanitation and food handling standards.
  • Oversee kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Ensure all food served meets the establishment's quality standards, taste, and presentation expectations.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control waste to ensure cost efficient operations.

Requirements

Required Skills or Experience

  • Degree/HND/Diploma in Hotel Catering, Hotel and Institutional Management /Culinary training from a recognized institution
  • 5 and above years of experience as a chef in similar setting.
  • Strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and creativity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
