Responsibilities

  • Create, refine and implemented menus and daily specials.
  • Train, schedule and supervise all kitchen personnel (sous chefs, line cooks, prep cooks).
  • Oversee preparation, presentation, and taste, performing quality control checks.
  • Manage daily workflow, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to health/safety regulations
  • Record and Check Inventory daily, Manage stock, and liaising with vendors.
  • Foster a positive environment, training junior staff, and acting as a liaison with the front-of-house.
  • Ensure that the Kitchen, Store Room, Prep Area, Freezers and all other areas in the Kitchen are always clean.

Requirements

Required Skills or Experience

  • 4 - 5 years of total professional kitchen experience
  • A certificate in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
  • Proven success managing a kitchen
