Estimator

Job Description

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and tender documents for glass projects. 
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to determine scope and pricing. 
• Conduct material take-offs and labor cost analysis.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing for materials and accessories. 
• Work closely with the sales and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost efficiency. 
• Review and evaluate project risks, variations, and cost implications. 
• Ensure all quotations meet company pricing strategies and profit margins. 
• Maintain proper documentation and records of estimates and project costing. 
• Support project handover processes by ensuring clarity on scope and budget.

Required Skills or Experience

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the glass processing, construction, or fabrication industry. 
• Strong knowledge of glass types, specifications, and installation methods. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (an advantage). 
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
• Minimum qualification: HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
