Piesie Esther might not win 'Artist of the Year', stop giving her hope - blogger

A blogger and Editor-in-Chief of Gospel2Me, Zhikay Ike Junior has asked fans of the Piesie Esther to stop giving her hope because she might not win the overall awards during the VGMA.

Gospel artist, Piesie Esther has grabbed seven nominations for the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA 23) which includes the overall award, “Artist of the year”.

According to Zhikay Ike Junior, the category for Artist of the year is very tight, and might be a struggle for Piesie Esther to win that category hence lovers of her song should stop giving her hope.

“I know it’s a numbers game, and the way we’re talking behind Piesie Esther, she might get it when it comes to voting

He went on to say that “when it comes to award schemes, gospel music has not gotten much mileage, and I think we can all agree that when it comes to representation, Ghanaian gospel music is getting fair representation rather than validation.“
