Opoku joins Black Stars in Luanda for Angola clash

Amiens defender Nicholas Opoku has been called up to join the Black Stars in Luanda for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier clash against Angola, which is set to take place on Monday.

Opoku has earned a last-minute call-up to provide additional options for coach Chris Hughton, as Ghana will be without the services of defenders Salisu Mohammed and Alexander Djiku due to injuries.

Nicholas, who made his debut for the Black Stars in July 2017, has represented Ghana in 13 games and scored one goal.

He will be looking to make a significant impact for the Black Stars during their upcoming match against Angola.

The game is set to kick off at 5:00 pm and will take place at the 11 November stadium in Luanda.
