Ghanaian actress Habiba Sinare apologized for what she said in a viral video clip that she claimed was cut from an earlier interview about Northerners.

In the viral video, Habiba claimed that Northern men were difficult to cope with and related it to how her in-laws tried to dominate her life as a young mother and wife when she married at the age of 19.

Reacting to this in the comments session, a Facebook influencer, Nana Kwame Elvis has opined that Habiba Sinare should have stood her ground and become the voice of Northern women in abusive marriages.

Not all the northern men are like that tho but seem the majority.I know most northern men will not agree to this but they know women in the northern part of the country has no voice in the marriage.Why do you think some of them run away to the South and don’t want to return home?
