Gbese Dzaase advocates for structural integrity amidst divisional stool elevation

The Gbese Dzaase has highlighted the importance of preserving structural integrity in traditional governance structures.

With stools like Akanmadjen, Otublohum, Sempe, Gbese, Abola, and Asere Tsono being elevated, the Gbese Dzaase emphasises the need for proper realignment of stool structures to reflect leadership responsibilities and ranking orders.

In a statement sighted by GhanaWeb, the Gbese Dzaase emphasised their role in guiding the structural arrangements of the Gbese polity's royal court leadership.

"Following the recent elevation of the Gbese divisional stool to a Paramountcy, it behoves on especially the Gbese Dzaase to provide guidance in the appropriate structural royal court leadership arrangements of the Gbese polity to facilitate a smooth transition of the Gbese Dzaase leadership and its royal court leadership as critical divisional structures of governance.

"This consultative transitional framework is critical to avoid structural distortions and usurpation of royal court leadership roles and responsibilities, principles, procedures and protocols.

"We note with concern that the current disregard for the hierarchical structure of the Gbese Stool by Thomas Okine forebodes serious concerns which, if unchecked, would gravely distort the established royal status quo," part of the statement stated.

Moreover, the Gbese Dzaase highlighted the imperative of addressing socioeconomic challenges faced by the Ga citizenry, particularly the youth.
