Wizz Air expands reach to Egypt with 27 new flights from Poland

Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced the launch of a new flight program by the low-cost carrier Wizz Air, operating 27 weekly flights from Poland to Egypt for the first time.

The Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Aviation and Follow-up, Ahmed Nabil, said that the new program will help increase the number of Polish tourists and raise hotel occupancy rates in Marsa Alam, Hurghada, and Sharm el-Sheikh.

Fruits of cooperation The ministry explained that the launch of the new program is the culmination of ongoing cooperation and partnership with the airline, following a series of meetings and discussions held by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy, with company officials.
