US requests Filipino pastor’s extradition on sex charges

The United States has formally requested the extradition of a Filipino pastor wanted on sex-trafficking charges, the Philippines’ foreign affairs department said Thursday.“The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirms it has received the United States Government’s request for the extradition of Apollo Quiboloy.

A spokesman for the Philippine justice department separately told reporters that it would be required to file “the appropriate petition before the court” after receiving the request.
