Two die, two hospitalised after suspected drug consumption in Ogun

When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Police Command, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, confirmed the incident but said the police had yet to establish whether the deceased were students of Gateway ICT Polytechnic.“The Ogun State Police Command is investigating a suspected drug-related incident at Oke-Ola Phase II, Isara-Remo, where two persons were found dead and two others were hospitalised after allegedly consuming hard drugs,” Babaseyi said.

The incident was said to have occurred on Tuesday at Oke-Ola Phase II, Isara-Remo, where four young persons allegedly consumed the substance, believed to be a hard drug commonly abused by some youths.
