Troops arrest 3 alleged terrorist collaborators, destroy enclaves in Kaduna, Katsina

“In a separate operation on 28 August 2026, troops of Sector 2, supported by other security agencies, conducted clearance operation against identified terrorist enclaves around Maharba and Karaduwa in Matazu Local Government Area of Katsina State.

By Kingsley Omonobi Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma have recorded operational successes in Kaduna and Katsina, with the arrest of 3 suspected terrorist collaborators, the interception of weapons and ammunition, as well as the destruction of identified terrorist enclaves during separate operations conducted on 27 and 28 August 2026.“During the operation, troops also cleared and destroyed an enclave linked to notorious terrorist leader Kachalla Muhammadu Filani, whose group has been terrorizing innocent civilians in Matazu and Musawa Local Government Areas.
