Transport Minister inspects 2nd phase of Cairo BRT project

By GhanaSummary NewsroomEgypt

Minister of Transport Kamel al-Wazir inspected the second phase of Cairo’s Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project to review station readiness ahead of the start of operations.

The network will also connect with Metro Lines 1 and 3, the Light Rail Transit (LRT) and the East Nile Monorail, creating a more integrated transport system across Greater Cairo.

The second phase extends 40 kilometers from al-Mosheer Tantawy Station to Sun Capital Station and includes 16 stations, forming part of the project’s planned 48-station network.
