
Transport Minister discusses ways to enhance cooperation with Chad in logistics, road, railway projects
The meetings reflect the Egyptian Ministry of Transport’s commitment to translating the political leadership’s directives into practical cooperation and joint projects with African partners while strengthening the transport sector’s role in supporting trade and investment, linking markets and production centers with ports and logistics hubs, and promoting economic integration and sustainable development between Egypt, Chad, and the rest of the continent.
Wazir reaffirmed Egypt’s readiness to continue technical cooperation in all transport fields and to provide Egyptian expertise and capabilities to Chad in line with President Sisi’s directives to deepen cooperation with African partners and support development and integration across the continent.
Wazir met with Goukouni, where the two sides reviewed a number of areas of cooperation in transport, logistics, railways, urban transport, and river transport, with the aim of developing Chad’s transport system, supporting trade flows, and strengthening integration between the two countries.
