Tragedy in Ondo, 4 Amotekun officers killed in deadly attack by criminals

Agency confirms 2, vows to track down killers By Dayo Johnson Akure Four officers of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun Corps, were reportedly killed in an ambush by suspected criminals in the Akure North Local Government Area of the state.

The spokesperson of the Corps, Jimoh Adeniken, in a statement said the incident occurred while the officers were leaving their operational base along the Ago-Oyinbo farming area, around Ala Daadaa in Akure North.

The Corps urged members of the public, particularly residents of farming communities in the area, to remain vigilant and provide credible information to security agencies to aid in apprehending the attackers.
