‘Take back Bamenda’: In Cameroon, Joshua Osih and the SDF launch bid to regain the North-West

With the next local elections expected in the first quarter of 2027, the party has stepped up efforts to reestablish itself in the North-West Region and in Bamenda.

Following the previous local elections, held in February 2020, the SDF’s representation in the North-West Region fell from 13 MPs to just three.
