“A kidnapping case was reported at Saps Johannesburg Central after it was alleged that the victim had been abducted by unknown suspects who demanded a ransom of R100 000 for his release,” said police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi.“All four suspects aged between 28 and 37 years old were arrested and are expected to appear before court on 07 August 2026 on charges of kidnapping and defeating the ends of justice,” Nevhuhulwi confirmed.
