Seven die, two injured in auto crash along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

By GhanaSummary NewsroomNigeria

The latest incident comes as the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway continues to carry heavy traffic between Lagos and several parts of southwestern Nigeria, making safety on the corridor a recurring concern for road users.

Reacting to the latest crash, the Ogun State Sector Commander, Oludare Ogunjobi, urged motorists to avoid excessive speed, maintain safe following distances and remain vigilant while driving.

On July 24, a multiple crash at Kara Bridge involving five articulated trucks and a Toyota Sienna killed one person and injured another, according to the Lagos State Sector Command of the FRSC.
