RSF calls for release of French journalists detained in Togo

By GhanaSummary NewsroomPan-Africa

World News Advocacy group Reporters Without Borders (RSF) is calling for the release of two French journalists and their fixer detained in Togo.

In April, Togo suspended broadcasts by French state-owned networks Radio France International and France 24."It is important to point out that they were not doing anything illegal; they were simply doing their job and reporting, in a way, on the daily lives of the Togolese people as part of a documentary series with an international scope," Marong said.
