President al-Sisi, Tebboune stress regional de-escalation, reaffirm solidarity after Algeria wildfires

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi held a phone call on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, with his Algerian counterpart Abdelmadjid Tebboune, expressing Egypt’s full solidarity with Algeria in the wake of devastating wildfires and reaffirming the two countries’ commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and regional coordination.
