Police arrest 22-year-old, recover firearms, suspected Indian hemp in Lagos
By Esther Onyegbula Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 22-year-old suspect, Olamide Suleiman, during a stop-and-search operation in the Aguda area of Lagos, recovering firearms and substances suspected to be Indian hemp, while launching a manhunt for his fleeing accomplice.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, a search conducted on the suspect led to the recovery of dry leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.
The Command said the suspect was intercepted along Adetola Road, Aguda, during a routine stop-and-search operation by police operatives.
