PM urges Egyptian diplomats to promote Egypt’s investment opportunities
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, called on Egypt’s newly nominated heads of diplomatic missions abroad to step up efforts to attract foreign investments, open new markets for Egyptian exports and promote tourism, as part of a broader role in supporting the national economy.
Madbouly added that Egyptian diplomatic missions have an increasingly important role amid regional and international challenges, including protecting Egypt’s strategic interests, assisting Egyptians abroad and improving consular services.
Madbouly made the remarks during a meeting with the diplomats at the government headquarters in New Alamein City, attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty.
