Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said the Sandbast Family Medicine Center represents a model for modern primary healthcare facilities designed to bring medical services closer to citizens and support comprehensive health coverage.

Built on an area of 2,050 square meters, the three-story center serves more than 47,000 citizens and includes specialist clinics, family medicine and family planning clinics, a dental clinic, a first-aid unit, a fully equipped pharmacy, a medical laboratory, maternal and child healthcare services, a radiology center, and a state-funded treatment clinic.

He said such projects reflect the state’s commitment to providing comprehensive and advanced healthcare services in villages, ensuring that citizens have access to quality medical care close to their homes while contributing to improved quality of life and sustainable development.
