Osun poll: Residents suffering to get PVC – APC chieftain tells INEC
By Shina Abubakar An All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye has disclosed that the ongoing method of Permanent voter’s Cards, PVCs, collection deployed by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in the state is subjecting the electorates to suffering, stressing the need to improve on the process.“It is important for INEC to look at ways to make collection of PVCs for prospective voters more easy to enable more people to participate in the process and enough security should be provided for those willing to collect their cards.
He noted that simplifying the PVC collection process will boost voter turnout and enable more citizens to exercise their constitutional rights during the election.
