Osun Election: Reps minority caucus raises alarm over alleged intimidation

By GhanaSummary NewsroomNigeria

By Gift ChapiOdekina, Abuja The Minority Caucus of the House of Representatives has raised concerns over what it described as alleged intimidation of the Osun State Government ahead of next week’s governorship election.

The lawmakers also alleged a pattern of actions by the Federal Government that they claimed amounted to pressure on Osun State ahead of the election.

The caucus further alleged that political violence involving some supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other groups had continued in the state, accusing security agencies of failing to respond adequately.
