
Osun Election: FRSC Deploys 2,500 Personnel, 50 Vehicles for Traffic Management

By Favour Ulebor, Abuja The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has deployed 2,500 personnel and 50 operational vehicles, including seven heavy-duty tow trucks and six ambulances, to ensure effective traffic management and emergency response during the Osun State governorship election scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026.
In a press statement signed by the Corps Public Education Officer, Deputy Corps Commander Osondu Ohaeri, on Friday, the FRSC said the deployment would cover the three senatorial districts and all operational areas of the state to ensure seamless traffic flow, prompt emergency response and compliance with the restriction of movement order during the election.
