By GhanaSummary NewsroomNigeria

In the petition dated August 12, 2026, the council drew the police’s attention to what it described as an “extremely disturbing video recording” allegedly showing the Osun East senator making comments calling for violence against members and supporters of the Accord Party.

The Imole Campaign Council has petitioned the Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, over recent comments attributed to Senator Francis Fadahunsi ahead of the August 15 Osun State governorship election.

The petition also requested that security be provided for members and supporters of political parties across affected areas, while urging the police to ensure that voters can participate in the election without intimidation, harassment or violence.
