NLO Cup adopts home-and-away format to guarantee clubs more matches
The Nationwide League One (NLO) has announced that its revamped NLO Cup will adopt a regional home-and-away league format designed to guarantee participating clubs more matches and improve players’ competitive exposure.
Instead of a single knockout fixture, the league format provides a broader schedule of competitive games,” Mr Ogunnowo told the NLO media channel.
The format represents a departure from a single-match knockout arrangement, offering clubs a more extensive schedule of competitive engagements.
