Egypt exported 4,370 food shipments totaling 208,000 tons between August 15 and 21, 2026, shipped by 1,410 exporting companies and covering around 758 food products, the National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) said on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
Russia topped the list of food suppliers to Egypt during the week, followed by Indonesia, the United States, Australia and China, among 84 countries exporting food products to the Egyptian market.
As for food imports, Egypt received 1,917 food consignments totaling around 220,000 tons, imported by 858 companies.
