NDDC set to commence  repair work on Sapele – Warri road 

By Jimitota Onoyume The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has flagged off reconstruction of the Benin – Sapele express road with assurance that the project would be completed within the shortest possible time The Managing Director of the commission, Dr Samuel Ogbuku who spoke yesterday at the flag off ceremony at Amukpe roundabout, Sapele local government area apologized on behalf of President Bola Tinubu to people of the area and commuters on the road for the hardship they suffered due to the deplorable state.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori who was represented by his Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information in Delta State, Mr Charles Aniagwu formally declared the reconstruction work to commence In their separate speeches , Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta central senatorial district and the member representing Ethiope federal Constituency in the House of Representatives , Rep Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu commended the commission for the intervention .

I apologize on behalf of Mr President to people of this area and the commuters for the hardship they have passed through.
