NDC hails court order on party logo

—Directs members to use approved two-finger logo By Henry Umoru ABUJA — The leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has hailed the Judiciary for directing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to recognise and use the party’s modified digital logo.

In a statement on Thursday, the NDC National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, said the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja granted the party’s prayers in a suit seeking to compel INEC to upload and use its modified digital logo as contained in the party’s constitution.

Abdulmalik, the court ordered INEC to approve the modified logo design, including its symbol and colours, for use by the NDC as its official logo for all purposes as a political party, including elections conducted by the commission.
