The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a Level 4 Warning for severe thunderstorms along with a warning for damaging coastal winds.

Disaster management teams have been activated in the southern parts of KwaZulu-Natal as severe thunderstorms are expected to affect that part of the province.
