How to calculate your university admission aggregate score
Many Nigerian universities combine UTME, Post-UTME and, in some cases, O’Level results to determine a candidate’s aggregate score.
For example, if you scored 280 in JAMB, divide 280 by 8: 280 ÷ 8 = 35 If you then score 70 in Post-UTME, divide 70 by 2: 70 ÷ 2 = 35 Your aggregate score would therefore be: 35 + 35 = 70 per cent Where O’Level comes in Some universities also award points for O’Level grades in relevant subjects.
Universities may consider three major components: UTME score, Post-UTME score and O’Level results.
