
Gombe Police declare zero tolerance for traffic offenders, begin enforcement drive

In a statement issued on Thursday by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Buhari Abdullahi, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, the Command expressed concern over increasing disregard for traffic regulations, saying the development had contributed to congestion, obstruction of vehicular movement, road crashes and loss of lives and property.
The statement further directed all officers and personnel of the Command to maintain the highest level of discipline and professionalism during enforcement operations, stressing that no police officer was exempt from obeying road safety rules.
