Gombe govt hands over sites for Emir’s Palace, Central Mosque remodelling

By Ben Ngwakwe, Gombe The Gombe State Government has signed the contract agreement and formally handed over the sites for the remodelling and upgrading of the Gombe Emir’s Palace and Gombe Central Mosque to Datum Construction Nigeria Limited.

He disclosed that the agency had completed the remodelling of more than 50 district head palaces across Gombe State, as well as the remodelling of the Yamaltu Emir’s Palace in Dadinkowa, Gona Emir’s Palace in Akko Local Government Area and Funakaye Emir’s Palace in Funakaye Local Government Area.

He described the Gombe Emir’s Palace as an important symbol of the state’s cultural heritage, saying it deserved to be preserved and maintained for present and future generations.
