Gauteng Education and police conduct raids at schools

The Gauteng Education Department says school safety operations are uncovering prohibited items and highlighting broader discipline challenges at some schools across the province.

Maile says the department will also investigate concerns about discipline and teaching at the school.

At Rivoni Secondary School in Daveyton, officials recovered items including suspected drugs, disposable vapes, condoms and knives.
