Free State records two new foot-and-mouth disease cases
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the Free State to 772.
To date, FMD cases have been confirmed in 19 Free State municipalities, including Kroonstad, Welkom, Sasolburg and Frankfort.
Spokesperson Moliehi Moeng says that of the confirmed cases, 577 have been successfully resolved, with the affected properties meeting all the prescribed requirements for the lifting of quarantine measures.
