FM highlights Egypt’s investment potential at Philippine business roundtable

Representatives of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and leading Philippine business executives praised Egypt’s economic progress and comprehensive reform program, expressing interest in exploring investment opportunities and strengthening cooperation with their Egyptian counterparts to further expand bilateral economic ties.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty participated on Friday, July 24, 2026, in a roundtable discussion with leading Philippine business executives and representatives of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), in the presence of a delegation of Egyptian business leaders.

Abdelatty also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry to strengthen cooperation between the business communities of the two countries.
