FG resolves Passport verification glitches, joins ICAO global trust network
With the completion of the import process of all Nigeria’s existing CSCAs on the ICAO Public Key Directory to establish a chain of trust, Nigerian passports can now be verified seamlessly by border control systems in all ICAO PKD member states.
By Omeiza Ajayi ABUJA: The Federal Government said it has strengthened the international authentication of Nigerian passports by successfully importing all its Country Signing Certificate Authorities CSCA into the International Civil Aviation Organization ICAO Public Key Directory PKD.
It further reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to advancing the integrity of Nigeria’s travel documents and promoting global interoperability, including seamless border clearance for holders of Nigerian passports going forward.
