It is alleged that in November 2022, following the arrest of a suspect for unlawful possession of ammunition, dagga and explosives in Thohoyandou, Nkosi ed the police station under the pretext that he was a high ranking official from SAPS Headquarters in Pretoria.
Suspended South African Police Service (SAPS) Organised Crime Unit Sergeant Fannie Nkosi will appear in the High Court in Pretoria on Wednesday next week.
The bag was later returned to the police station and it was found to have been tempered with.
