The route of Metro Line 4 The first phase of Metro Line 4 extends for 19 kilometers, starting west of the Ring Road on the outskirts of 6th of October City, passing through the Grand Egyptian Museum station, Shooting Range Square, and al-Haram Street, reaching Giza station, where it interchanges with Metro Line 2.

The underground route begins at the intersection with Metro Line 6 at Sayeda Aisha Station, then proceeds along Nasr Road and Nasr City via Anwar al-Mofty Street to interchange with the East Nile Monorail at al-Tayaran Station.

It continues past the Police Academy, heading east along al-Sadat Axis and north along Mostafa Kamel Axis, finally reaching the major maintenance workshop for Line IV north of the Ring Road intersection with the Cairo-Suez Road.
