Ethiopia’s Tigray rebels say drone hits Mekelle residential area

Amanuel Assefa, vice president of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), which rules the state, told AFP the drone hit the city of Mekelle early on Thursday.
It follows a drone strike near the city on Tuesday that is not thought to have caused any casaulties.
