Dentists clash with regulator over updated scope of practice Health Just now

Dr Kahura Mundia, President of the Kenya Dental Association, told the Nation that allowing community oral health officers who lack those skills will endanger the lives of unsuspecting Kenyans.

In a new twist, KMPDC published two updated scopes of practice, which the Kenya Dental Association has strongly criticised."Should the publication not be withdrawn forthwith, the Kenya Dental Association will pursue all available legal avenues to protect the public interest, uphold professional standards, and ensure that the rule of law prevails, regardless of the personal cost to all individuals out to abuse their office mandates and occasion grievous bodily harm to Kenyans," said Dr Kahura.
