
Crude oil, aviation fuel top import chart at Lekki deep-sea port

A breakdown of the figures showed that a total of 1,525,612 metric tonnes of crude oil came into the country through the port for onward distribution across the country.
Shipping documents obtained by Vanguard showed that petroleum products dominated imports through the Lekki Deep Sea Port as of August 10, 2026, with aviation fuel, Automated Gas Oil (AGO) and Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol, among the major products recorded.
