Appeal Court Judgment: Kaduna ADC faction seeks compliance, reconciliation
By Ibrahim Hassan-Wuyo KADUNA — The Legacy faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kaduna State has called on party members to comply with the recent Court of Appeal judgment on the party’s leadership dispute and embrace reconciliation.
According to Mustapha, the Court of Appeal, in a majority judgment, upheld the lower court’s order restraining the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from recognising state congresses, activities or leadership structures allegedly arising from committees constituted during the party’s April congresses.
He said the leadership of the Legacy faction was committed to promoting reconciliation, restoring unity within the party and strengthening its structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
