ANCWL to host National Day of Prayer for GBVF victims

The African National Congress Women’s League (ANCWL) is expected to hold a National Day of Prayer and a memorial in honour of victims of Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) at the Alberton Civic Centre in Ekurhuleni on the Gauteng East-Rand on Sunday.

The ANC Women’s League will convene a National Day of Prayer as well as a memorial in honour of the victims of Gender-Based Violence and Femicide today.

He also directed Acting Police Minister Feroz Cachalia and Justice Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi to undertake a national case-recovery operation focused on unresolved murders, attempted murders, rapes and serious sexual offences involving women and children.
