Accord petitions EU, ECOWAS over rising violence ahead of the Osun governorship election

The Accord Party has appealed to the European Union (EU) and Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to urgently intervene and de-escalate the rising political tension ahead of Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State.

He disclosed that the party had written a letter dated 12 August to both the EU delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS on the rising political tension in Osun ahead of the Saturday election.
