6 soldiers killed, 75 residents abducted as bandits attack Zamfara community
By Idris Salisu, Gusau At least six military were reported to have been killed by the suspected bandits abducting over seventy (70) residents of Kasuwar Daji in Kaura-Namoda local government area of Zamfara state.
Sources from the area told Vanguard via telephone that, the suspected bandits attacked Kasuwar Daji community around 11:30 pm Saturday night after over running the military outpost station in Kasuwar Daji.
A resident who identified himself as Alhaji Aminu Kasuwar Daji, told our correspondent that the bandits who stormed the community in large numbers, immediately started shooting sporadically to overrun the military outpost based to protect the area.
