
2027: Youths, students rally behind Tinubu, Abiodun, Adeola in Ogun
By Henry Ojelu Hundreds of youths and students yesterday staged a solidarity trek in Abeokuta, Ogun State, declaring support for President Bola Tinubu, Governor Dapo Abiodun and Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Armstrong ‘Tope Akintunde, said the solidarity trek was organised to demonstrate support for President Tinubu’s expected second-term bid, Governor Abiodun’s reported senatorial ambition and Senator Adeola’s governorship aspiration in Ogun State.
The rally, organised by the Yayi Progressives Movement, saw participants march through major streets of the state capital after converging at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, carrying banners and placards while chanting slogans in support of the three All Progressives Congress, APC, leaders.
