Roro Lashes Out At Organisers Of The 2024 TGMA Over Their Failure To Nominate Great Ampong’s “Style Bia Bi” In The Gospel Song Of The Year Category

Award-winning Ghanaian music producer Roro Buddy has taken to his Facebook wall to express his disappointment with the organizers of the 2024 TGMA (Telecel Ghaba Music Awards) after they revealed the nominees for the Gospel Song of the Year category.

In his post, Roro lambasted the organizers for what he perceived as a glaring oversight in not nominating Great Ampong’s hit track “Style Bia Bi.”

“The Ghana Music Awards de3 if you’re not in their books forget oo,” Roro Buddy wrote, highlighting the perceived exclusivity of the nomination process

“So you guys mean all the artists in the gospel categories had songs and numbers bigger than Great Ampong’s ‘Style Bia Bi’?,” Roro wrote.

The list of nominees for the Gospel Song of the Year category included Tears of Joy by Patience Nyarko, Anuonyam by Mabel Okyere, Aseda by Nace, Kaafo by Perez Muzik, Mo by Piesie Esther, 100% by Scott Evans, Say Amen by Diana Hamilton, and Victory by Joyce Blessing.

After stating his disappointment, Roro Buddy concluded his post by teasing music lovers with an annoucement about an upcoming release from their camp that will take the industry by storm again.

“Anyway guys, we dropping a new Banger soon,” Roro Buddy declared confidently
