Westham United: David Moyes to leave club at the end of the season

He earned the nickname “David More Years” during his disastrous stint at Manchester United over a decade ago as he needed more time to deliver after the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure.

At Westham, the 61-year-old Scottish manager has spent seven incredible years with the Hammers as he won the UÈFA Conference League in the 2022-23 season with the club.

On Monday, West Ham confirmed that they have mutually agreed to part ways with David Moyes at the end of the season.

Julen Lopetegui, the former Spain and Real Madrid boss has agreed terms to become the new manager of the club, per Fabrizio Romano.

Westham United showed interest in the young Portuguese manager Rubin Amorim who is on the verge of winning the Portuguese league with Sporting Lisbon but has chosen to settle with Lopetegui.
